Thanks guys!
I love it so far. I now understand why the VQ has been a Ward's 10Best engine for so long. That thing is awesome. The powerband is so wide and it's so smooth. It sounds great too.
I took it out late last night for some ahem "testing" and it simply flies. Compared to my Accord V6 it has 10 lb-ft more torque, 300 lb less weight, and a manual instead of auto, so it feels totally different and much much faster than my Accord.
I took a look at about 5 Max 5spd's on Sunday. I found this one at the end of the day and it was in worlds better shape than all of the other ones. Mint. Went back Monday morning to sign the papers for it and drove it home. I left my down payment and they gave me 10 days to come back with the check from my bank since I wasn't financing through Nissan. They even called Enterprise to come pickup my rental car for me which I had been driving since Jan 3rd - the day after I got hit. They really wanted me to drive it home that day - and I really wanted to drive it home too
