Rough running. Especially with A/C on!

The other day my gas light can on when I was on my way to work I got trip as soon as it comes on so I know how many miles iv been with the light on but anyways about 15 miles in on my way to the gas station after work my car starts running so bad it won’t accelerate like it’s running out of gas. So I limp to the gas station I knew it wasent all the way out of gas it only had 15 miles with the gas light on and plus the car would idle fine. So I put some premium gas in it and it helped a lot but now it still doesn’t like to go under throttle it’s definitely weaker. And when the A/C is on it’s real bad weak. I’m thinking maybe a dirty fuel filter or even worse injector. Anyone ever had this problem or know of anything it may be???

Try running some injector cleaner through it if you think the injectors are clogged. Does it want to die when you give it gas?

Today it got a lot worse agin and I put injector cleaner in it Friday it’s now Monday and the gas light is gettin close to commin on agin. And when I tock off for break earlier I give the car gas and it pretty much dies. It won’t go under gas it cuts out real bad and acts like you just barely feather in the gas pedal at full throttle even worse with a/c on then it will die sometimes Almost left me stranded had to put it in first gear and just give it a tiny bit of gas and it would go but any more it cuts out

This could be your MAF dying. Unfortunately there is no way to diagnose other than swap it out. Most junkyards charge about $15 for a maf, so there is a relatively cheap test. Be advised that there are different MAFs for the different years of the car.

Yes I need to try the MAF. But would that make sense while the AC makes it get way worse. It comes and goes it made it home today but barley. And btw it smells like raw gas pretty bad when it starts actin up too
