Help! No throttle response, car shutting off

I have an 03 se and recently I've had problems with not having any throttle response while in gear after about 5 mins of running the car and it eventually dies at first i thought alternator so i replaced that but it hasn't stopped and kills my battery i have hooked it up to a code reader and there was only evap codes and a gas cap code i cant remember the exact codes but could it cause the car to do this?

Maybe your battery is bad. It could be taking the charge but not holding/discharging correctly. Make sure nothing is grounding out.

No, the evap canister and/gas cap is not going to effect your drivability. Only your inspection!
