About to get a factory set of Nissan Wheels, need some opinions?

Hey, I'm about to finally ditch the fugly aftermarket wheels my 2k2 GLE has on it, look at my previous threads for pictures of the car with them wheels. I'm not gonna go aftermarket, the choices are between, the 18 inch wheels off an 6th gen SE(I put these wheels on my old 2000 SE awhile ago and didn't really like how high the car sat, and they rubbed in the rear hitting bumps especially with passengers), the factory 2k2 GLE wheels, the 17 inch 2k2 SE wheels or the 6th gen SL wheels. Need some advice and opinions, thanks.

Yeah, do you need to replace the wheels or just want to? Because if they work fine, I say save your money, so they aren't the best looking...the OEM wheels you are referencing aren't any better looking I'd imagine. There were a few of the 7th gen wheels that actually looked good, but I have no idea if they would fit. The 8th gen wheels are hideous and likely going to be too expensive even as pull offs...

Well those wheels gots to go, they are horrible. These wheels that are on cars in the junk yard and they are in excellent shape with good tires, I already been to a few of my local junk yards, the wheels would be a little bit over $180 after tax. I kind of want the 18s though, maybe since the 2002s have the side skirts, the car will appear to sit lower.

What about the 350Z 35th anniversary rims? They're 18's, 5-spoke, and I think go real well with the shape of the 5.5gen Maxima. They're one of my favorites for this body style. A close second are the 6th gen 18" SE wheels. I have an '03 GLE, and considering to powder coat the stock GLE rims black, and leave the Nissan center caps in their normal silver finish for a nice contrast (to still accent with the chrome door handles)

18" Murano 5 spokes look decent to me. They're very plentiful in the salvage yards.

I was thinking about the 6th gen SE wheels painted black, that would look sharp with my dark gray car, I like how the 17 inch GLE wheels flick in the sunlight though, tough decision

The flat face of the GLE rims painted gloss black would look dope

I'm about to take my Maxima 2002 SE to the junkyard this weekend, in case you're interested in swapping wheels before
i get rid of mines. I'm in Chicago

Have you looked at wheels on the infiniti Gs? I picked up a set of '04 7 spoke wheels from a G35 used but in great shape.

I have the 17in Sport model Infiniti rims, "common on 02 q45's", which are my favorite as far as looks. But they require thin sidewalls, so at times it feels like you don't have tires on at all.. I got a flat awhile back, and drove several blocks to the tire shop with the flat, but didn't even notice, or hear anything different. The ride was just as comfortable.
If you don't mind feeling every bump, I would recommend them. But if you'r more interested in comfort than style, I would get something with larger side walls
