Turning Alarm horn off
#2
When performing this, did your car's lights blink? That would signal you did this correctly. The buttons only need to be held down for a few seconds. Depending on your particular 5th gen, the 2000-2001 key fob actually specified on the fob how to accomplish this. 2002-2003 maxima key fobs don't seem to carry the same.

Crazy, I was just thinking about turning my alarm lock horn off the other day. I have yet to try with my 2003 and ebay fob. I'll let you know how it goes tomorrow when I play with it. Both lock and unlock buttons depressed simultaneously for a second or two is the procedure, correct? I haven't looked at the FSM or owner's manual yet.
