I was wondering is it possible to swap in factory navigation in a 03 i35 to one that does not come with it. Saw a i35 with navigation in the junk yard and ive always wanted one but they are very rare. I see differences in the wire harnesses so i dont know if its possible plug and play or is it worth it.

 

At least with the Maxima it's a whole different harness run through the dash so....

Nissan had always been behind on nav/av stuff. My g37 is a joke compared to some other options at the time.

 

I figured lol but just wanted to know if its been done before without alot of trouble.

 

It has been tried in both directions. I don't think it has ever been accomplished with 100% functionality.

As stated above, the wire harness in the dash is different between the 2 setups and I don't think anyone has tried to change the harness.
