For those who want to clean up their engine bay after BOP install or get rid of the p1800 code after deleting the VIAS solenoid and vacuum lines, you can install a 330 ohm resistor in line on the solenoid plug and it will stop the code from triggering. I installed mine over a year ago and never had the code trigger. I cut off the existing solenoid plug since I couldn't easily locate a matching connector and used a set of delphi connectors instead. Place the resistor in one connector so that it completes the circuit for the solenoid. Super easy and effective solution.
