Steps forreplacing my fuel injectors? VQ35 5.5 gen
So to be more specific I could really use some guidance for replacing my fuel injectors. I need to know the steps on how to get the fuel rail off and any tips that any of you may have. I have had this 5.5 for 2 months or so. Its my second one I've owned. Started with a misfire on cylinder 1, replaced all spark plugs and coils, full tune-up really. Turns out that after process of elimination and testing spark plugs and coils for proper function, it is most certainly the fuel injector in cylinder 1. I looked up videos and DIYs online and was not satisfied with what I found. I like to work on all my cars myself, I figured if there's anywhere I can find the knowledge to acomplish this it would be here Any tips or advice along the process would be greatly appreciated as well. Thank you all.

For the n00blets....
Disable fuel pump (Via Fuse, unplugging, NDSII, whatever)
Keep trying to run the car until it just won't run anymore... It'll actually run for a bit and it'll continue turning over trying to idle for longer than you think
Remove Upper intake manifodl
viola fuel rail exposed....
The fuel rail is held on the lower intake manifold by 4 12mms, then the line goes to the firewall... IIRC 2 12s or 10s on a 2 bolt flange remove all that.
Fuel rail comes out now... BE CAREFUL NOT TO LOSE THOSE ANNOYING EASY TO LOSE PLASTIC O RING THINGIES ON THE LOWER MANIFOLD... Or youll just have to be careful tightening the rail back to the lower manifold.
Anwyhoooo Rail is off right? Ok cool theres a U shaped clippy thingy holding each injector in... Remove clippy thingies then begin fighting the injectors yanking them out of the rail.... Oh hey remember when I told you to disable the fuel pump? Well gas is still gonna come out so if you're nervous have a crappy cloth below to catch the remaing fuel in the rail.
Install is reverse of removal... Just follow my directions backwards.
And im ouuuuttttt
FYI you do know Cyl 1 is left back correct? Just checking...

Also make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks. Get new intake manifold gaskets and check all the rubber hoses. This is one of the more common causes for a misfire on older cars.
