Approximately how much would it cost to put a vq35hr engine in my 5.5 gen. I’m debating doing this cause I’ve seen a lot of guys do this and I think it would be a good swap. If anyone has any info please lmk. Thanks.

 

I'm considering the same thing. The swap kit is 220$, a junkyard engine is about 250$, random fluids, taxes, shipping and other fees and bs i'll guess about 600$. But this is me just brainstorming.

It won't be an actual HR, like from a Z or G. The 2nd gen 3.5 from 07 Altima, 09 Maxima (among other newer FWD Nissans), is a popular swap.
