Speedometer not working

Anyone have any idea how to fix this? When my speedometer works the car runs fine, when it starts "floating" or just drops to 0mph my transmission starts acting weird. It is a 5 speed manual 00 maxima se

Gonna be a transmission sensor. Use nissanpartsdeal.com to ID your part.
