Price Check, Isle SWAP!

I have a friend with a 2000 SE manual, 268000 miles. The car looks and runs like crap (the engine might be ok with new sensors, but she doesn't want to spend any more money). The clutch is also nearing the end of its life.

Is the manual swap equipment on this car worth anything more than the scrap value she would get scrapping it?

Thanks!

Probably. Most swap to a 6 speed. If she has limited slip it might be worth something.

Thanks! She still thinks she can sell it whole, but we will see.

I believe the 2000 just has a 5 speed, which isn't quite as sought after. The vq30dek is normally a solid engine till 3-400k though, so might be worth saving.
