New used i30t

Hello all. I was looking for a used car Friday and this car piqued my interest. The car was recently traded for a new car and was a 1 owner car. Garage kept and too many maintenance records to read. 154k miles. The interior and exterior, for a 20 year old car is about as close to perfect as you will find. They were asking 4,800. I countered 4,500 tax title out the door and they said yes. This car is unbelievable. It even smells really nice. Curious about the bose system. The car does not come with a manual. Is there a cd disc holder somewhere in the car you can load cds into? It took me 10 minutes to figure out how to open the fuel door so, lol.

I bought a very clean 2001 I30 last September, it had 177,000 miles when i got it, also garage kept, 1 owner, even had the original owners manual.

Whoever owned it really liked it enough to keep it clean

I've had a lot of cars. This one rocks. The stero kicks butt. I think I'll replace with a Bluetooth head though. Almost brand new set of Michelin tires on it. I think I scored for 4,500.

Holyhell that thing is mint. The interior, especially the floor mats, looks brand new.

everything looks brand new. The only thing that I need to find a way to improve, the black plastic in the center of the dash is faded. Im sure there is a product that will shine it up.

nice find, looks great. first thing I would do is service the transmission and fill the radiator up with new antifreeze.

thank you. That's great advice. at 154k miles should I flush the transmission too or just get rid of old and add new?

just do a few drain and fills but put a few miles between each drain and fill. never get one of those flushes that they hook up a machine to it. just do all the fluids. it's really important to do the fluids. I've seen cars have ABS issues and new brake fluid made the problem go away. all fluids serve as a lubricant, even antifreeze has a lubricant in it for the water pump bearings. once those water pump bearings go, that shaft starts wobbling and leaks happen, you don't want that happening in a VQ..

fortunately, the previous owner took real good care of her. No way I'd have paid 4,500 unless it was very well taken care of. This car was also made in Japan by people who cared about building a good car.. im pretty sure nissan went to hell in a hand basket soon after when they were bought by renault.
