My car is making this ticking sounds from what I'm reading it could be a collapsed Hydraulic lifter or spun rod bearing which makes a very similar sound

 

loud tick is smashed "lifter" bucket from low oil (hydraulic lifters haven't been used since VG engine, they are bucket tappets).

Not worth fixing as everything has to be tore down. If the car is in good shape, then I would 2nd gen swap it.
Or just drive it.
