which flywheel should i use

ive been browsing around the interwebs and reading forums alll over but i cant seem to make a decision on getting a single mass or keeping the dual mass flywheel


drop your opinion lets hear it

2002 maxima 3.5 m/t

my experience with the dual mass is that they are really heavy and eventually go bad. when they do it's just really awkward to drive cause the stock disc is unsprung. I'm in the process now of installing a Sentra SE-R Spec V helical LSD so I decided to go with a JWT flywheel along with a 350Z/G35 pressure plate and disc. I went with a basic M-Pact clutch kit from Rockauto which should be good enough for just adding bolt ons and ECU reflash.

I went with OEM speced dual mass since the original went 180k+.

Luk flywheel

Exedy oem clutch

Thanks for getting back to me I'm gonna get a luk flywheel off rockauto. Keeping this car a good daily so I can pour money into my 300zx
