I've had my 02 SE 6 speed since December of 2012 and engine mounts have been an issue since I got the car.
first AutoZone set lasted less than a year and now my second set of E.S. bushings are done. I contacted them regarding the lifetime warranty but I am wondering if I can get the same results from just filling a standard set just to avoid the process of reinstalling those bushings.
the only place that really does that big of a bushing around here charged $90 last time (I'm guessing more now) and they usually tell me it will be ready by the end of the day than it takes a week. now I'm considering getting a press and the tooling to do it but with my new job working over night the less time I spend in the garage the better.
would filling standard mounts be just as good? the person that emailed me from E.S. is telling me she doesn't see the engine moving so I'm starting to not want to bother with the company anymore.
definitely moving, there's so much slop that stopping and going is so annoying. even more now that I have the JWT flywheel. the M-Pact 350Z pressure plate and clutch disc has lots of bite. spec V H-LSD works great too..
