Help no power when pressing on gas!!

I’ve been experiencing this problem for a couple weeks now it wasn’t too bad til today when I went out

my car COULD’NT switch gears I kept putting it into drive but it wouldn’t switch it was stuck in reverse

also when I started driving as I pressed on the gas my car would not move i would rev it and nothing happened and it kept slipping

as I reved my car it moved for just a second and then it kept repeating this viscous cycle (no power when I pressed gas, moved for second repeat)

I went to Auto Zone last week the code came up as P0011 there might be another new code i’m not sure

so my question is what do I need to replace or what do I need to go buy?? i’m definitely not trying to bring my car to the shop I’ve repaired my car in the past before as long as it’s not too tedious I can do it

any help would be greatly appreciated i’m about to start a new job I NEED this to be fixed ASAP

Transmission might be toast. I'm assuming your auto. Start by checking the fluid level.

How do you know if it’s transmission related??

it’s crazy cause my car was just driving fine it was still doing everything I said but was VERY minor wasn’t an issue but it never just not moved when I pressed on the gas

If it’s the transmission imma just junk the car F IT

ever had the transmission serviced before?

#1 killer of automatic transmissions is people slacking off on servicing them.

Based on the CODE thrown, it's a VVT (Variable Valve Timing) Issue. This is a good link to troubleshoot and fix: https://www.700r4transmissionhq.com/...nissan-maxima/

Well, for starters, are you auto or manual?
If manual, the clutch being toast is another possibility.
