2003 Maxima QX

Hey Guys,

Could someone please tell me, if there are rear fog lights functioning on a European 2003 Maxima QX on both sides, or it works only on one side when you turn it on?

I would like to import the car to the UK and I was just wondering if I need to modify it or not. The rear fog light has to be on the right hand side or on both sides here. I think it works on both sides, but I haven`t got the car here with me yet to check.

Many thanks,
Gabor

You have the fog lights on the front, below the headlamps built in the front bumper, right?

It's a European requirement in some countries. You'll see it in the US on a few European cars (mostly Mercedes and Audi) where it looks like they are driving along with one red brake light lit up 100% of the time. That is the rear fog that they accidentally turned on.

Did not know that. I thought those square rear brake lights where aftermarket add-ons. I've actually been looking for those for my E Class and S Class Mercedes. Didn't know that's what they were called. Thanks! Not sure about the Maxima, though.
