02 max se.6mt Yooo , just wondering if Altima headers would work on my car and if not, what the best headers and y pipe i should get to go with my obx catback. Also do i have to trim my spindle to put the akebono front calipers on with the ebay brackets, i know thats 2 questions. thanks yall

 

any 95-03 Maxima header will fit. I ended up going with stock 5th gen exhaust manifolds (Federal, not Cali) and 4th gen Warpspeed Y-pipe . the only true header option I could find was OBX for dam near $700. the OBX has a 2.25 outlet while the Warpspeed Y uses a 2.5" outelt.

the headers for Altima and o4-08 Maxima header require making a custom Y pipe. the dude that makes the custom Y never replied when I messaged him on Facebook.

from what I read on here the front exhaust manifold on the 02 VQ35 is really restrictive. the VQ35 exhaust manifold is the same as the VQ30 Cali spec exhaust manifolds.

nice info uptownsamcv , thanks for answering. i dont know about the brakes, i just did a 6th gen bbk that bolts right up w no mods.

 

I also have the 6th gen brakes, works pretty good. from what i remember the 2 piston calipers for the 06-09 350Z should work also.

I need to pick up a cheap used one with bracket for test fit before i get the red powder coated ones to match my back brakes..
