Getting the cats right?

I may be seeing the end of the tunnel after spending $13K on my 2002 Maxima. I still need to "manage" the blow-by. Presume that this will one day destroy the catalytic converters. I also presume that there's a way to have less than all three of them and not have the check engine light on. Could someone here tell me what that way is? I appreciate this forum's input into to getting me where I need to be with this car.

search around here further, plenty of info on that. look up gutting pre cats, O2 sim, O2 extender, bung, etc. you can get hard to find headers, modifiy altima headers, and also gut the pre cats, you gotta use a O2 sim or O2 extender to keep codes away
