Purchased a new engine. Company won't ship without manufacture date of vehicle. The VIN indicates 2000 but I can't find the month that they are asking for. Any help how to find? No stickers are on the doors.

 

The drivers door sticker is what has the month, I would try running your VIN into one of those free online VIN decoding websites, i've had some of those give me the date of manufacture. That or asking a Nissan dealership if they can pull your month of manufacture from the VIN is all i can think of

 

So make one up... The difference is EGR. And to get rid of that trash and code (assuming you need to for EPA's *** raping scheme) get a 2001 ECU.
