Drivers side Oil Leak

I've been having two oil leaks, one is for sure the rear valve cover gasket (closest to firewall) and another leak on the driver side.
It is next to a black piece that I have no clue what its for or even how oil is leaking from it. Any help would be much appreciated.

FYI: I attached a photo with a circle around the location of where its coming from, it also doesn't look oily because I had just cleaned the area before this.

Oil pan gasket. The rubber end seals get hard and crack.

Even with the oil pan being on the other side of the car oil can get over to the driver side?

If you're leaking from that spot you circled that's the rear of the oil pan

That plate covers an inspection window into the transmission bellhousing. You can remove it easily by taking off that one 10mm bolt. The oil pan that slvr2KSE5 is referring to is not the one you're talking about. The VQ35 has a split oil pan design - the black painted steel lower oil pan (small) and the aluminum upper oil pan that spans the length of the engine. It's that upper oil pan that could be leaking. It uses a combination of RTV sealant and small rubber "half moon" seals around the bends near the crank seals. The leak is either the upper oil pan, the rear main seal, or the transmission input seal (less likely).

Gotcha, I've heard the rear main seal is a pretty intrusive/expensive to replace, any way for me to tell if it is that that's leaking?
