Locked out

I have a 5th gen maxima and the battery in the car is dead, I don't have a remote and I can't unlock the doors. They are solely electric. I can get in the trunk

I'm confused. Do you not have an ignition key? My '02 has a key lock on the driver's side that will unlock the door manually.

5th gen definitely has a mechanical rod from the lock cylinder to the latch. I did come across a 4th gen that didn't.

Go through the trunk if you have to.
