So my 02’ maxima has been having this issue where when i unlock my car and open my door all the exterior lights start flashing including my dash and when i turn my key to start the car it wont start unless i click a button on my security alarm key. And then im able to start the car but its becoming an inconvenience because i have to do that every time i get into my car.
any suggestions?

 

Remove the aftermarket alarm that someone had installed.

 

How are you unlocking your car?

 

i use the original remote to unlock it and i have to use a fob alarm key to disable the security

 

if i remove it will the car start or will the security light just stay solid ?
