HELP: MAF Unit and Resonator Box

Has anybody had exceptional trouble separating the MAF Unit from the Resonator Box? I can budge the thing. Maybe I'm a moron, but I can't figure out why they won't separate. I'm mechanically inclined, but this one just isn't happening...any thoughts guys?

Never mind...did a search.

I just figured I'd post in case the search came up with nothing. I'll be right back.

yeah - I had a very tough time separating it too. You've just got to slowly work it loose! You need to take out the air intake box with the MAF attached then just work the MAF loose.

My problem was really that I hadn't realized that the lip of the rubber o-ring was separate from the MAF Unit. Once I saw that, it was a bit easier. All done, thanks.
