2000 maxima odometer help
Hey this would be my first ever post here.
Im the same account as “MrMoney” sorry for any confusion
I wanted to see if anyone with a 2000-01 max can check and let me know if the odometer light is supposed to turn off as soon as the car gets shut off. Im aware that the gauge cluster and hvac control lights stay on for 30sec after car is shut off but for some reason i cant recall if the odometer/trip light turns off as soon as the car is off while the other lights turn off later.
Im asking because i just added heated steering to my 2000 but for some reason i noticed the odometer light turns off way before all the other lights. Is this normal or should i check for something? I posted vids below so please let me know if this is normal or if something went wrong.
