Picked up another Maxima

Daughter needed a first car for school, so I picked up 03 GLE with clean CA title, absolutely no rust, 150K and a good CARFAX maintenance history. This one makes it a 7th VQ powered car in the family since I have joined the forums in 2001

We'll see shortly if she will be another VQ35DE oil guzzler or sipper

dayum that's a clean Maxima, looks brand new. I'm surprised to see how good the driver's seat looks.

Damn! I was in San Diego a couple of weeks ago and would have loved to have bought a car like that. Almost every car out there looked great ( few older cars had sun paint issues but they were very few).

I bet you got a good deal on it too.

Thanks! It was owned by a on older lady for the past 9 years, prior to that her sister-in law owned it for 13 years as the original owner.

I've been looking for another Maxima for a while now, unfortunately majority of 5th Gen's out here are free of rust, but the paint and interiors are always trashed. Paid $2.5K

It's my daughter's first car for school and work. Current plan is to do maintenance first, than few tasteful mods such as front lip, clear corners, window tints, stereo, possibly wheels and suspension in the future.
