How can I turn off side lights??

I have clear sidemarkers with amber and red bulbs. I can't stand the poor color so I thought I would just try to turn the light off. I don't want to take out the bulb. Is there a single fuse I can remove? What are my options for getting rid of the embarrassing rear pink lights? Help!

I havent looked for fuses but you can cut the hot wire and put a switch on it. (or just cut it)

Is that what you did? I figure I wouldn't get in trouble with the police if I had no color coming from there at all. Do you have to cut 4 wires or just one main one?

I left mine on. I have amber and red bulbs so I don't think cops will bother me. I am insearch of RED bulbs for the rear (not pink)

I think the side markers only have 2 wires each. If you cut one, it will break the circut and the light will not light. It might be easier to remove the bulb incase you want to put it back.

Keep in mind if you remove thoese lights, cars might not be able to see you to well from the side, like when turning. Might be dangerous??

Since I started thinking about this I paid attention to other cars on the road. Most cars don't have sidemarkers at all. So I don't think it is a requirement to be on the car. Is this right?

Any other ideas?
