Leather discoloration

Friend's 2000 Max (black interior) has shown strange 'whitish' areas on the back seat which do noot appear elsewhere. Looks like patches of 'fading' which disappear for a few days after treating with leather conditioner (Eagle One has been used by her). Anyone else experience this or know of a care product that won't 'dry out' in uneven areas?

P.S. Am trying to get us a new member, but hasn't said yes yet.

maybe try the zaino bros stuff. i don't know jack about their leather product, but everything else they make seems to be top notch.
