Anyone know where I can get a service manual for my 2000 Maxima GXE? I have looked all over the place and can't find one. HELP!

Thanks!

Wow! It is $210.00. Anyone have the CD they want to let me borrow?
Your kindness will be repaid.

Not sure if you're still looking for this. I figure someone else may need this too. I did a some searching online and found this one free as a downloadable PDF:

http://pdftown.com/Nissan-Maxima-QX-...ce-Manual.html

It says "Maxima QX" which I think is the Euro/Japanese Maxima but it appears to be correct for my US Maxima SE. Also, do a search and you can find some downloadable PDF's for sale from $7 - $15 dollars. Personally, I'd rather have a PDF over a physical book. You can search them, they have nice links that jump you to what you need, and you can just print out the pages you need. Also, all my books tend to get smudged up as I look through them while working on the car. You can just reprint the PDF.

I figured that it was likely that the original poster wasn't looking for this because of the date. However, I wanted to make this information available to anyone looking for it...because I usually search maxima.org first for this type of info and couldn't find it. This thread is the first one (and only one for 2k max's) that pops up when you search so I just dropped it in here in hopes to provide someone else assistance if they were trying to find the same thing that I was looking for. Should I have started a new thread so that there are multiple threads on the exact same topic that people have to wade through when searching? The content of my original post does improve the value of the maxima.org community, however your post critiquing mine adds absolutely no value to the purpose of the community. If yours is the common attitude of people here, maybe I should go somewhere else and recommend the same to others.

So you say you searched?

Hell, you don't even need to search, look at the first page of the General forum:
http://forums.maxima.org/general-max...niti-fsms.html

That, or link in my sig.

Or search, it's been covered quite a bit.

Absolutely no need to dig up a 7 year old thread (!) to post a version of the FSM, not even a USDM version at that.
