Automatic shift **** installation

does anyone know how to remove the stock automatic shift **** for a 2001 maxima se

i have the 20th anniversary **** and im dying to install it.

i have to cut the inside to change the **** ?

it just doesnt come off with the 2 screws in front of it ?

yes sir lots of cutting and grinding believe me its a pain in the *** bad part about it is once you do it there is no going back to the old one unless you buy a new shifter assembly
