Comparing Car Insurance rates

To all Max-owners,

Sorry for the rant, but all of you are my only honest source of information. My insurance is right around the dreaded corner again, and I was curious to get a rough average in cost. I realize the prices will vary according to location and driver history and all kinds of other lame excuses that they can think of. (They own us all anyway). But what is the average cost of owning & operating a Maxima?

I'm in Hawaii, got a 5yr clean driving discount with all the discos that come with any 5th generation. Single car rate, with all the bare insurance to finance the max, not even uninsured or underinsured insurance, no tow or road assist, rental junks, just the bare cost. The company is GE_CO, rate paying per 6 months is over $440. Is this right?!? or are you guys gonna make me feel better with worse horror stories.
Gimme some case studies to compare this 4-dr "Family-Car" sedan. I think I should've bought the 240 2-dr sport car instead.

Thanks in advance !

I wouldnt complain about only 440 every 6 months!!!

I live in Northern VA right outside of DC and pay 800ish every 6 months for the max alone. I have multi-car, house, and good driving discounts also. I guess if I think about it though mine is pretty good seeing how I have complete coverage and a 50 dolla detuctable oh...I'm only 22 also which doesnt help me at all!!

Thanks SeOh2mAx,
I forgot a few other details,
I'm 34 and deducts are @ $500 and 250, I think I would be right there with you in cost if I dropped the deduct to $50 too. I trade my age with yours anyday tho
By any chance are the A.E.s that much in difference in the cost?

Thanks all of you,
I have no room for any gripes, I was quoted roughly $360-$380 for the maxima back in November, before I bought the car.
I was taken back when I got my statement and it jumped to 440+. I was wondering really hard if I caught a ticket from a van camera or if something happened to my abstract. Well, abstract still clean, but about the surge. There goes the small savings I had for KYBs ...bummer

keep sending the insurance rates, maybe we can keep most of the insurance companys on their toes, at very least.

thx again
