I raced a Viper tonight. It was my 2000 SE 5 spd w/Berk Tuning Intake, the Viper, and an Iroc Camaro lined up at a stoplight. We both left the Iroc behind, but he had two car lengths on me before we were out of first, and he wasnt even trying.....no wheelspin from the Viper......a very controlled right foot I imagine. Before that, I spent the evening smoking various wastes-of-time-and-gas on a main cruise spot....after the Viper I was on the highway next to a 97-era Vette, some grey-headed guy driving. He looked over at me, and he dropped the hammer, got a good start on me, but I threw it into third and started hauling. He was leaving me for awhile, but I started to hold my ground. I wasn't losing any ground to him 'til 130, then we hit traffic. Quite a night for me.....set my new "top speed driven" in my Maxima. Several kills .....then a raping at the hands of an 8.0 liter V10

 

I was driving fast yesterday and realized the car behind me was keeping up pretty good. After I hit a certain speed (20km over limit) I stated at that speed. He changed lane and past me after a few seconds, and later almost got hit by and Accord who doesn't know how to change lanes. The mystery car was a WRX wagon. I was happy cuz we both ran pretty well, but the Max is definitely better looking, and more fun inside :-)

 

The various wastes-of-time-and-gas were assorted Integra's, Civic's, old Camaro's, Pick-up Trucks, and a non-turbo Subaru.
