I looking to buy a 2000 GXE and wanted to know if you can get after market Titanium Gauges and if the Climate Control can be switched out to the digital one. I'm trading in my 98 I30 that I've had for three weeks for a 2000 GXE. I'm loosing money on the deal but I really do like the Maximas new body style and features. Also does anyone know where I can find a good aftermarket woodtrim/Aluminum company? Thanks for the help in advance.

If you're in Canada (or buying from Canada), then yes, the automatic climate control is available for the GXE. If you're in the US, I don't think they're available for the GXE. As for the titanium gauges, I haven't heard of any aftermarket ones, but I would be very interested as well.

1) Don't think there is an aftermarket guage for the 5th gen at this time... probably won't for a few years.

2) If you get a car without auto climate control, it is NOT worth it to put one in... costs WAY too much, might as well buy a car with one.

3) http://www.woodtrim.com... they've always been good to the Maxima community.

The GXE is not wired to have the Climate Control (digital) as i was told by the dealer and as for the titanium guages they go $270 for the 2 large tach each and the $190 for the 2 little ones.....
