Some closeup NAV shots....

I had a few requests for more closeup shots of the NAV display. I neglected to include the BirdView, but I did post a couple more shots for those who emailed me asking about them.

Car looks awesome.

Question. Does the Navi have a video in port to play PS2 or a Portable DVD.

Thanks.

There is nothing documented wrt the NAV system accepting any type of video IN. Would be nice though!

It would also be nice if it were DVD, but it's CDROM.

Im assuming the display for the climate control is on the Nav screen. Do you have any pics of that? What displays on the screen during everyday driving when youre not using the Nav system?

Climate control display comes on the NAV screen when you press or activate any of the climate control buttons. If you take out the NAV cdrom you lose NAV capability but climate control and stereo control remain on the CRT. With the NAV CD in, stereo control is not GUI, rather you must use the buttons either on the dash or on the steering wheel. Pretty much everything can be done from the steering wheel as far as the stereo goes.

You can set the NAV system so that climate control always takes up half the display, or only comes on when you activate the buttons (then goes off after 5 seconds). I don't have any pics of all that stuff, but I may take some this weekend.

Looks like I need a whole web section devoted to the NAV because I have gotten soooo many questions on it.

The navi is about 99.9% accurate! Comes in very handy! I am happy with mine. Girls dig the nav too. You'll be like "Hey baby, what are you in the mood to eat?" and she'll be like "greek food". Then you'll be like "No problem" Then you punch in "GreeK" and it'll give you the closest greek restaraunt to eat where ever your at, even if your Compton. Your date will be amazed with your navigational skills.
