Carsound V.S RT Cat....................

Okay, besides the price difference. Does Carsound high flow Cat has better built quality and last longer than RT Cat. I have heard several problems with RT Cat, such as heatshield rattling, loose brick.

Does anyone who has Carsound has this problem?

Thanks

WSP said the RT cat dyno produced 1 HP more then the carsound cat did.

What about quality comparison? Does Carsound have better quality, unlike RT Cat has heatshield rattling, loose bricks, etc.

And does Carsound has welded on flanges? cuz RT Cat has rotational flanges which i dont' think it seals good like the welded ones!

Thanks

I have never owned a car sound cat so I do not know about the flanges or quality. However I do know that both of my RT cats(one is on my 95 max with over 20K miles) have never had a exhaust leak or any other problem. From my experiences the RT cat is very well made and durable. If you find a good group deal like I did the RT cat is very affordable at around $135.

Well, the reason i asked was because my RT Cat is probably dead and the heatshield came loose like the second day i put it on. That's why I am trying to find a better high flow Cat than RT Cat.

P0420 error code catalyst inefficiency for Fed Emission cars. I am guessing it's the CAI, but I wonder why tho.

Dealer said It's not, I kept telling them when I first got the error code(bank 1 running lean), it was the O2 Sensor but after they did the test(holding car at 2500 rpm), they say it's my Cat, because the reading from both O2 sensors are fine!!!

I am confused on what's actually causing it now

BTW, how often do those O2 sensors go bad anyway, i mean my car only has 30k, it shouldn't go bad that quick!!
