Got Rice,
Stillen's rotors, the ones you offer for sale..the slotted, are actually manufactured by Brembo (as you probably know). Stillen tells me the cross-drilled are sold out already.
Can you get the cross-drilled rotors for a 2k?

It's true... they do use "Brembo" blanks (Jane97SE has them). Don't know how they get them... maybe if we know the size of our rotors we can order some.

I'm sure you can, I called Brembo a few weeks ago (before the dealer replaced my rotors) to inquire, I don't think they had a listing for the 5th gen, but they definately had them for the 4th gem.Originally posted by Y2KevSE

Stillen is using 4th gen rotors on the 5th gens... but probably different brake pads to make up for the rotor thickness (or lack of).Originally posted by sprung

I think if Stillen is drilling holes in rotors, that's the wrong way to do it. I believe the correct way is to cast the rotors w/ holes in them from the get go.

yes, Stillen uses Brembo blanks, as does Autospecialty. But, both companies do their own CNC machining, not Brembo, so essentially they are not Brembos. I see too many other vendors market their rotors as "Brembo" when they are truly not. The name essentially allows them to mark up the price an extra few bucks.. unethical and a pathetic way to take advantage of the customers. MVP Motorsports does this.. as do a few other shops you guys probably never heard of.

They lied to you then. We know it says "Brembo," but they (Brembo) don't/doesn't x-drill the rotors.Originally posted by TAGURIT
