it might be possible for those of you who have 2k2 headlights....
i am thinking about trying it... cuz it is quite costly....

Angel Eyes are sweet, first time I saw them on a 5 series I loved them. I think someone with a 4th gen got them done, but he only made it for himself and said it took lots and lots of time, and money. Looked nice tho

 

There is a company called omnitech sports that makes after market kits for BMWs. If there were enough interest, he may try to make a kit for the Max??

LOL. I just think the 5-series is a car that speaks for itself. Isn't it enough when you see a pair of BMW Xenon's bearing down on you? These angel eyes just look ricey IMO - and now they're going to be all over Civic DX's probably in a few months. I saw a set of these on a 5-series just last night. Yuk.

I know what these are, they are rings on the round lights.. 5series have them.. the 2001+.. but what im saying is, i've seen thse on all those hondas.. and i hope it isnt the next trend like what altezzas are,i can see it all now, these will be purely played out.

I bet the 3rd genners might like those, since some of them have already done a 3-series light conversion. Now they can do a 3rd gen to 3-series to 5-series conversion.

it'll be very hard... if you look on a bmw car, both the high beam and low beam headlights are in a round casing, therefor, you stick or whatever them onto the round part... on civics/honda in general, they have aftermarket projector lenses thus giving them the opportunity to add those "angel eye" rings.

 

I think those look nice. I never saw them on any other car but the bmw 5 series in Hawaii. You saw Hondas with those? Got any pictures?

They look ok. The way I learned the term "Rice" was when someone used parts on a car that did nothing for the car (Like seeing a Civic with a rear wing that looked better suited on a ovel track racer) and/or did nothing to enhance the look (Like adding plastic wheel covers with fake disk brakes made out in plastic).

These lights are ok to me. The Altezza got a bit out of control and the "cheaper" ones are unsafe becuase the lights are only viewable from directly behind the car.

 

I think it looks really good...but yeah, every Honda is gonna have them soon

 

Its still rice.. it belongs on a BMW.. just like a GT-R emblem belongs on a GT-R car.. silvia lights dont belong in hondas.. skyline conversion dont belong in hondas.. same thing, RICE.

 

I still say not rice. GT-R emblem on a GT-R car is rice.skyline on a honda...well, depends if it was done right. Silvia lights on a honda? Aftermarket maybe, not not retro fitted from real ones.

Rice= 3in pipes on a Civic with a stock engine.
Not rice= 3in pipes on a Civic with fully modded engine making over 250hp and you can't see anything from the outside but the larger pipes. You may call it Rice until you race it.

Rice= adding a Whale tail on a maxima
not rice= adding a stock spoiler on a Maxima GLE

Rice= Altezza light with flashing break lights dual tip exhaust, remove airfilter(for louder sound), racing stripes on a Honda DX.

Not Rice= Altezza light with flashing break lights dual tip exhaust, headders, cold air intakes, racing stripes on a Honda Si.

By your wording, anything thats aftermarket could be considered Rice.

 

It sounds more like posing...and trying to look like something you're not (in this case a Bimmer) is rice.

Thank you, amen, Takin something off another car that has no use is rice in my terms.. but hey, some rice is nice.. keving car looks nice and theres plenty of rice in their, but remember..thats not all show and no go.. it has plenty of go. Racing stripes are purely rice. Those mods you listed for a civic is NOTHING.. racing stripes are ghey.. but to each his own (did i say that right )

 

I dunno. As I said, rice to me means adding something that does nothing but make you bigger than you really are, but in such an obvious way.
