No TSB for 2k2

I may be wrong but isn't there one for the rear calipers or brakes on the 2k2 Maxima? I was on a TSB site last week and thought I saw one. Of course I have been wrong many times in the past...so my wife says.

Guess what...not for 2003 either!!

Can you say jumping the gun? Takes a few months for problems to accumulate, be admitted to by manufacturer, and then hit the public.

I'm in total agreement, but it's no different from my '93 5sp.

I assumed it was because it was the drive by wire.
That surely isnt the case in 93.

2 "recalls"

I found 2 for the 2002, I think both issues have already been discussed here:

Nature of Defect:
1.INTERIOR SYSTEMS:INSTRUMENT PANEL:SPEEDOMETER:ODOMETER Recall Number: 02V010000
Dates Manufactured: N/A to N/A
Number of Vehicles Affected: 843
Date Owners Notified On N/A

Vehicle: 2002 Nissan Maxima
Defect Description:
Vehicle Description: Passenger vehicles equipped with a traction control system. The odometer in the subject vehicles registers distance in kilometers instead of miles as is specified in the design. The odometer does not have a label that indicates "kilometers" or "km" as required by FMVSS No. 101, "Controls and displays."

Consequence of Defect:
null

Corrective Action:
Dealers will inspect the odometer to determine if it is correct and, if not, will replace the speedometer/odometer assembly. Owner notification began December 12, 2001. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Nissan at 1-800-647-7261.

Nature of Defect:
2.FUEL:THROTTLE LINKAGES AND CONTROL Recall Number: 02V043000
Dates Manufactured: N/A to N/A
Number of Vehicles Affected: 39000
Date Owners Notified On N/A

Vehicle: 2002 Nissan Maxima
Defect Description:
Vehicle Description: Passenger vehicles equipped with an electronic throttle control system. The stopper for the accelerator pedal will prevent excessive movement of the accelerator position sensor. If the driver applies overly excessive force to the accelerator pedal while at the same time pushing it to the right, the pedal can "over travel" due to the design of the pedal stopper.

Consequence of Defect:
This will cause the engine malfunction indicator lamp to come on and the engine speed to be severely limited. If this occurs unexpectedly, it could lead to a crash.

Corrective Action:
Dealers will install a new accelerator pedal stopper. Owner notification is expected to begin in March 2002. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact Nissan at 1-800-647-7261 or Infiniti at 800-662-6200.

does anyone have any idea of how this problem presents itself? In the morning when I'm leaving, after I've let the engine run for abotu 30 seconds or so, I release the ebrake and put the tranny nto reverse... I often hear a loud clunk from the rear of the car as I apply pressure to the accelerator and begin to move back. This never happened in warmer weather... I have only noticed this during this a$$-freezing buffalo winter...
