Addco RSB Instructions???

I got my Addco RSB in the mail today. I opened up the packaging and to me it seems that I have gotten everything that should of came with it. Only problem being that the directions were all faded, and I cannot read half of it. Also at the very top of the instructions it says "1995-199".

So, my first question is whether or not the install instructions are the same for 4th & 5th generation Maximas? Secondly, does anyone know where I could get some readable/visible instructions so I could possibily get it put on sometime soon? (Maxima.org has instructions, but are they for a 4th Gen, or 5th Gen?)

Thanks a lot guys!

Toylet to the rescue! Do you have one on your car? If you do, do you still have your instructions handy, or did you have the bar installed professionally? Supposedly they fixed the problem on the new Addco RSB's, that is according to Greg's site.

How long does the install take?

They did fix the bracket issue. If you got it from Custommaxima.com, then for sure it is fixed.

If I wanted to paint the bar (I have the gold-zinc chromate), would I just use High-Temp paint and a clear coat ontop of that? I noticed that there are what seems to be indication markers on the width of the bar kinda showing where the red plastic things go i'm guessing. If I painted over it, would i mess it up?

Are those actually the place markers for where the red things are supposed to go on the bar though? Did you paint your bar?

my bar came powercoated black... you put the red busings on the farthest part of the bar so it wont hit the cross member bar thing in the rear...

How does the bar look painted black? Is it noticeable while you're driving, or does it look like part of the car? I was going to paint mine black or silver, and I only got the chromate so it doesn't rust or anything in "harsh weather conditions"

it looks pretty good painted black... you can hardly notice it, till you see the brackets holding it in place or if you know your maximas... i kinda like the silver/chrome sorta look... like the one you have.. its more noticeable... unless you want a sleeper and hide it
