I AGREE, BUT...

yes i agree that the 5spd is alot more fun 2 drive but its a SE. The GLE has leather, sunroof, auto climate, BOSE, and the SE doesnt have any of that...

If you're looking for performance then get the SE 5 speed. If you drive in heavy traffic, GLE.

Looking back

I wish I had gotten a 5 spd instead of an auto....been driving as stick for the past 15 years and I all I can say is I've never been more bored driving in my life

If I had to do it all over again I would have gone with the loaded SE 5 spd. After riding in a leather SE my frost cloth seems chinzy...

Oh, of course the base SE doesn't have leather or anything...from your reply it seemed you were saying that you can't get leather, bose or anything in the SE. I misunderstood you.

5-SPD

the amenities (of the GLE) are nice, but if i had to choose, i'd pick the 5-speed over them. FWIW

5-speed!

I could never buy an auto when with the 5-spd you have so much more power (and fun).

5-sp SE

I have both (well, actually, my wife usually drives the GLE). I got the SE specifically because I wanted a stick shift in a relatively fun car that still had 4 doors.

My fully-equiped SE has all of the luxury features of my wife's GLE, and is definitely the better bargain...
