Nice!

What is "tap plastics"? Some local shop?

If so, what's their info? Couldn't we just order it, since they already have yours to use for a template?

Can you post some more pictures close up?

Thanks.

I picked my maxup on November 21st, I bought the car right off the truck .

The greddy exhaust just bolted right up, it took me a little over a hour to do.

My next mod is in the mail(should be here on Friday), 18X8 SSR Integrals(19 lb's each) with Kumho 245/40/18's mounted and balanced. After that I want to get HID's for my High beams, headers(when they become available) and a body kit.

The greddy system is the only bolt on cat-back system "curently" available. @ $474 shipped it was a great deal too (old group deal).

I'm looking forward to seeing some pics of your max

Thanks for the offer.

I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to break the seal on the headlights and risk breaking them or possible moisture problems. Once I do, I'll be taking you up on that offer.

Keep us posted on any moisture, water, etc.. issues.

I feel you on this, but I am getting very very close to doing this. But also done want moisture problems, I know I can solve that by adding more silicone sealant and making sure it is sealed. Plus I can probably clean up the "marks" on the inside of the lense.

Also I want to do it, but I want to do one more thing of custom designing some rings around the circles, but I know I cant take measurements and then close it and then re-open it. That is what is holding me back.

DAMN!!!

if i actually attempt on taking the headlight apart, how can i make sure that moisture doesnt get in??? cuz i cant afford to have a burnt out hid bulb......

emax: did you take out all the glue that was already on the headlight?????? and then put on your own glue???

cuz when i painted my friends's rsx head light, we didnt bother to take out all of the glue that was there at the beginning, after putting our layer of glue on and sealing it, the seal was crap and now his headlight is fillled with water...

I just re-used the original glue and never used any silcone sealant. When I put the lights back together I heated up the glue and it sealed the lights back together properly. It's been a few months now and I do not have any leaks.

Make sure you document and take pics of as much as you can. Tips, tricks, anything.

The more people that sucessfully do this and pass on the information, will make it easier and more likely for everyone else to try.
