got zaino, some questions before i start
i've checked the car cleaning forum and a lot of you guys seem to like the chenille mitts and sheepskin stuff. are those the same products i see at pep boys and autozone? or are they just cheaper products cuz they're only like 10 bucks. if so, where can i get some good stuff (not online since i want to do this tomorrow)? how about the high quality cotton rags that zaino recommends and you guys have talked about. what specifically am i looking for?
that's all the stuff for drying. but with the z5 and z2, i can just use the cotton applicators zaino sent right?
thanks guys. i'll post some pix of the before and after with the zaino glass cleaner. i'm crossing my fingers and hoping that i can reduce the number of tiny nicks on my windshield.

Zainorrific!
hi serin, using a genuine sheepskin wash mitt is a good idea. $10 bucks sounds about right
buy at least 2 made-in-USA 100% white cotton towels and wash them with liquid detergent (Tide). Don't use any fabric softener. I use one towel to dry the car after washing and another to take off the zaino after its dried.
to apply the zaino use the supplied cotton applicators. you can buy similar ones from Walmart or somewhere similar. I keep my applicators in zip lock bags after I've used them.
If done right your car will gleam!
let me know how that glass cleaner works.

Im about 6 months into my various wax bead longevity experiments. Here are the results so far:
Mequiars cleaner wax: 2 months
2001 (Turtle wax): 6 weeks
Meguiars Gold Class: 3.5 months
Zaino Z1/Z2: 4 months and counting...bead is still perfect. Started Nov 10, and car has been outside all winter.
Yeah, you can just use the supplied applicator to put it on. Dont be afraid to keep the coats thin. glopping it on there wont buy you anything.
