02 1/2 shift delay....related to 00/01 tsb?

I have a new 02 GLE auto with under 500 rounds on it and noticed a pretty significant delay on the shift from 1st to 2nd...normal or not?
Seems unusual to me but I am do not have a knowledge of the product.
I am a ASM at a Toyota dealer.

Just askin to be informed, thanks.

Yep, a number of people with the 2k2's seemed to have noticed it, including me.

No resolution yet. Btw, try searcing for VB Mod or Valve Body, you might want to consider doing it.

How much more "unsmooth" (couldnt think of a word) is the shifting after the vb mod?
