First of all thanks to William Gay (Metallic97GXE) for giving me this idea.

Ok so on the side of my 2 front doors, where our little 1 inch body crease that goes across the side of the car, I wanna rest an emblem on it. In the place where the 99 SE-L have their badges.

Since my car is black, I am most likely gonna go with Chrome.

But now I need your guys help..I am torn between using a 2000-2001 "MAXIMA", a 2002 "MAXIMA", or a 2000-2001 "SE" or a 2k2 "SE"

If anyone has pics or can give me some advise, I'd be really appriciative of it!

Main difference between 2k-2k1 and 2k2s is 2k-2k1 have Italic font...2k2s don't.

Isnt the 2k2 lettering in seperate peices ?

What about the SE badges..

It looks like the "SE" is one peice while the MAXIMA is seperate. 2k2 owners?

I wouldn't get the black chrome from the 2k-2k1 models, you wouldn't be able to see it on that color.

I'd get a Pathinder SE badge though....

I think those have a "carved out from a block" look

i did this on my 96. it was black also. i just got a couple of 2k/2k1 badges and spray painted them silver and covered it with some other kind of sealing spray. it looked nice. i bought chrome spray paint because i wanted to redo them but i never did. sorry i dont have any pictures.

Guys, I can get these emblems in chrome right ?? Why would you get a black chrome and paint it when they sell the chrome...

i say use the chrome 2k/2k1 emblems.
