What do you pay for Insurance on a 2002 Max

I just got a quote for an 02 Max of $904/year. I figured it would be at least $1100. It may vary a little when a VIN is determined but is this a good deal. It is full coverage $100,000/$300,000 Bodily Injury with $100/$250 deductibles. I am 25 with a clean record.

Sounds like you've got quite the deal. I'm 25 and mine is $1100 for 500/500. Although I also have 2 tickets on my record. My insurance keeps track of them for 3 freakin years. Does anyone know if other companies track them that long?

Erie Insurance is who gave me this quote. I was originally quoted $1192/YR from USAA for 50/500 deductibles. Most insurance companies will track your history for at least 3 years. Some go as high as 5.

Mine actually is from USAA. They were the best rates that I could find by far. Didn't know about Erie.

I'm 20 with a clean driving history. My 2000 SE with Full coverage including glass and all that good stuff was $3500 a year. My new '02 SE is only a grand more per year. Good enough for me.

Yeah, USAA is the best. Mines appx $620 or so for 12 months. Being 36 with nothing on my record helps

About $2300 a year with AAA. 22 in Michigan with a spotless driving record. I'm going to switch to progressive soon. They were less for the same coverage.

What everyone needs to remember....

is a very large contributing factor to insurance rate differences is where you live...I mean if a street is the border between cities/counties, one side of the street can have as much as 25% less insurance premium than the other.

Having lived in 3 states and 5 counties...I have seen this more than once...

Also, let's face it, if you are in a low risk area vs. a major city like NY, LA, Houston, Miami, etc. you will see quite a difference, good record or not...

sucks, but that's life....

I pay $3500/year. 3 major tickets in my past are screwing me over.

I was paying about 1600/ yr I believe...it just went up (I think they found out about the reckless driving ticket, need to call and find out) to 145 a month from 116!! thats with full coverage and 50 dolla deductible and when I have called around they laugh at that price but will give it to me at twice the cost.
and this is all from State Farm!!!!!

TRY lowestpremium.com

www.lowestpremium.com

I use to live in jersey and thought they raped -- jerzey aint got **** on Arizona they are the highest. ALso highest auto theft in the U.S.

I pay 1800/yr -- got all the state minimums im 24 and have no pts. And I have 1000/1000 deductibles. - B/c I don't believe in ins. its a lose lose situation - best thing to do is figure out to pay the least to your ins comnpany -- you are paying to benefit from getting in a car wreck.

Man, some of you people **** me off. I busted my *** and this is the best deal I could get: $725 for 6 months, full cov.

I'm 27, M, single, renting, CLEAN record. I can't believe some of you can find it for $550/6mo. Must be because I live in Portland, OR....we have a lot of car thefts up here.

$750/6month sounds great to me. I was originally quoted $4000/year (INSURANCE WOULD BE MORE THEN MY CAR PAYMENTS). Ended up with $2400/year though.
