word on the street is...

push piston into cylinder body by gently turning piston clockwise.

monitor reservoir for overflow.

As Tim mentioned, the rear cylinders must be compressed and ROTATED in order to get them to go back in. The reason is that they are on a worm type drive. This allows the rear parking brake to function. Use a c-clamp and a pair of needle nose pliers(to twist the piston). Or you can usually rent a tool specificly for this from a local parts place. Looks like one huge dice w/ stuff sticking out of it. One side has the shape to fit the piston. Then you just push and twist.

ummmm

piston is concave with 4 corners inside, like a X? insert the needle nose and open them up to the ridges, press and gently turn...

make sure when you go to put the caliper back on you line up the little slit in the caliper with the little nipple sticking out on the brake pad other wise it wont go on all the way i tried for like 20 min before i noticed this

Like DM said, make sure the nipple also lines up with the back side of the pads. BTW-if you ahve ABS, open the bleeder valve and then you wont have to worry about the reservior overflowing. If you dont have ABS, forget that i ever even posted.

to screw it in, you can use needle nose pliers. Put the tips in two opposite ends. Then screw it in. Right tighty. Apply a lot of force.

kk i finally finished... i managed to do all 4... and i lowered my coilovers just a tad bit more

i didnt read about aligning any nipples till after i was done but i was able to get the calipers back on without a problem and put everything back together... does that mean that everything is aligned or could it be not aligned and do i have to take everything off again and align it...

changing brake pads is pretty easy... just someone shouldve warned me about the rear pistons before i started hehe

a-ha!

This thread should help me... well how do you know if your ROTORS are warped? can you tell by just looking at it? I dont wanna put new brake pads and find out later that the rotors are warped.

80% says they are. When you have the new brakes on, you might feel a small pulsing. I think it would be a good idea to have your front discs shaved just in case. Might be about $15 a rotor at most parts suppies store.

Hey thats not bad... 15 dollars to resurface the rotors each. SO i dont have to pay Nissan 300+ dollars no more? Thats what they want for new front brake pads , resurface frontrotors, and installation

u can tell sometimes if u look at the rotor and there are vertical lines in it... (little thin cracks on the top layer) i got that... just no extra loot to get new rotors... u feel it when braking from high speeds like around 70-80... the whole car shakes especially the steering wheel only when u press the brakes... i wouldnt recomend resurfacing ur rotors... because most people who did that had their problem come back within a few thousand miles... if u want to do something to your rotors just replace them... i left mine as they are till i get some extra $$ to get cross-drilled ones... in the mean time i just changed the pads and it feels a lot better already...
also if u wanna resurface ur rotors u gonna either have to leave ur car up on stands go to the store and resurface it or u gonna have to take ur car to them and pay them to do it... regardless if lets say they are $15 a rotor... thats $60... i would just add $100 and get new rotors... cause at the end u still gonna have old rotors...
