Nah I think the non TL-S are supposed to be like low 7's 0-60? I saw the TL-S rated at 6.2 0-60!!!! That's gotta be BS. The TL 3.2 regular was rated at 6.9 which also seems like a wad of crap.

If these numbers are accurate you'll lose.

Honestly TL-S would be a good match if you had the usually mods. My brother with intake and y took his friends TL-S from a 20 mph roll. The kid was talking Sh*T beforehand, but afterwards he was giving props to the maxima.

diesel just raced a 3.2 and a grand prix, he smoked the grand prix, and just beat the 3.2 so id say its up to the driver.

Sorry, but the 2000-2001 Maxima doesn't do low 7's. More like 7.8 unless something has changed over the past years.


I know the TL-S is FAST moron. Like I said above, another thing YOU miss-interpreted. So my BS proof or whatever your saying is a non-existent comment due to it being based on your MIS-interpreted info of what I said.

Once AGAIN, you either A)not reading what I said or B)you have no brain... I said the TL was rated 0-60 in 6.9 by C&D, but I said I thought it was BS and think it's more like low 7's...

Let me make this a little more CLEARER for you...I replyed to his post by saying "and both slow". I was replying to his 5th gen maxima and the TL being slow. And notice the " " I used, to show I was playing around. It's called humor, If you don't see that here on the .org you live under a rock.

So in conclusion I was saying his car and the TL are slow, jokingly.

My car is far from slow.

Good thinking! I am fully aware of that. Manually shifting with allow you to surpass your revv limiter, which is the MAIN killer of your slow 0-60 time. But, no magazine time does that to any automatic unless it's some kind of tiptronic or manu-matic.


No slick you were confused. You said "why did you say 6.9 and then change it to low 7's!", and I corrected you like I am now in saying that 6.9 was the clocked time it got, but I FELT like it was more like low 7's.

It's my fault for not including my info source. I got 6.9 off www.car-stats.com, and the Mag they got it from was Car and driver.

So actually I mis-interpreted that myself. It is actually 6.7, not 6.9...which is really fast. I really hope these times are not accurate becuase a measily 3.2TL doesn't seem capable to coming close to 4th gen 5spd times.

What you saw in those posts was me being sarcastic or blowing off steam. Steam from getting tons of unappriciative emails about my duals and me personally giving responses with no thank you. And I used to get tons of emails about 'em.

So that's all it was, I don't think i'm some god becuase of my freakn exhaust setup, I was just PLAYIN.

BTW, to anyone who may have questions about my setup...feel free to ask...I just get frustrated at the unappriciative type...alot have asked me normally and gave a simple thanks, and if you do I'll gladly reply. I have learned alot from the .org and i'll gladly give back to ya'll.

Just get the launch and keep your foot in it and let us know. the TL got faster in 2000 due the rebised tranny from 4 spd to 5spd auto.

No your not included in the moochers (although there is no set group) becuase you never have asked me for advice/info in a greedy and ungratefull way, or asked for any advice for that matter.

I would not of guessed either that you were asain, but it doesn't make a difference to me if you were white or black or whatever. I don't judge people by their race..

Side ported dual exhausts look really tight. Liked it ever since I saw it on my friends lightning. Got any pics?

I know you don't think so but I do give usefull info back to the org. I get questiosn all the time and give info all the time about questions about my wheels, all my cosmetics, my grille, my exhaust, my engine, facts on the maxima, ect. ect. You just seem to only remember the posts where I am f#cking around.

Although me and you obviously have some beef here on the .org, if I see you at the beach in a week I would probubly just come up to you and say whats up w/o even thinking, becuase I proly wouldn't remember who you were or remember our little fueds here on the org, or if I did I wouldn't care becuase their just that; internet fueds that don't make a negitive impact on my life and I am sure not on yours either. So hopefully you wouldn't be hostile becuase it's not real life, just an internet forum.
