are LED Heads possible?

Ok, so I'm sick of head light bulbs burning out. Has anyone attempted to make an LED headlight for the 5th gen Max? I know they did one for the Infinity....

(See Infinity Website... www.infiniti.com look at the Q45)

Actually, the Q45 has Xenon headlights except they use 7 lenses. If I'm not mistaken is that Honda is experimenting with LED headlights but are having problems with it because they lumen output doesn't meet the standards aka not enough light output.

Regards,
Mike H.

heh....heh.... I know its a joke but again, because I'd love to eliminate the BULB itself...as LEDs don't burn out!

and as for the Infinity Q45, has anyone tried taking the light assembly out of the housing of one of those and slapped it into a maxima's housing? probly way to expensive for an experiment...

You've got a 2001 and you have already had to replace your headlight bulbs (maybe even multiple times)? Sounds like you got a hold of some bad bulbs or either you touched the bulbs when you were putting them in. Headlight bulbs should last at least 3 years or so.

No... these are PIAA Extreme Whites... didn't touch the bulbs when putting them in, very careful!!! it's been 4 months I believe asince I installed them. I'm returning them, AUTOBULBDEPOT.com is honoring the warranty I think. Although when I pulled it out I touched it accidentally. I'll try cleaning it before I send it in... it was already burnt out.
