Does anybody make a tail light cover/replacement for the 2000 SE's(Grey Lustre)

Also..Is it true that the H4 PIAA's that everyone is installing is LESS bright than the stock lights? Ive seen pictures here that would suggest that...They do look cool though..Anyone done just the headlights and not the fog lights? If so, How does that look?

Thanks in advance.

I have used the PIAA Superwhites and they are definitely brighter. The Plasma may not look as bright due to their bluish tint, but I have not seen them in person.

Ok...You're right,it was the Plasma I saw..Thanks. It didn't put out the same amount of light in the picture I saw. I would imagine the Superwhites to be a lot "whiter and brighter"

If you do the Plasma H4 and the superWhite Fogs H3, you'll be fine, trust me.

I have the H4 SuperWhite's (PIAA)...

and theyre about the same as stock...
not brighter...
i just like the color better than the stock amber color.

i dunno about taillights...
i think they may have clears available...
if you decide to swap em...i'll buy your stocks!
email me if you ever wanna get rid of em.

I have the Sylvania Cool Blues and the stock fogs. It looks fine. The fogs are the regular color with the headlamps looking HID, which is closer to a real HID car anyway, since most cars with real HID light have halogen fogs anyway. If I do change the fogs, I'll probably be putting in the really bright Yellow lamps (probably Yellow Stars?) ..whichever ones are the same color & brightness as the Lexus fogs!

sw can't be brighter than stock. it has the same wattage but a tint to it. so how can a tinted bulb with the same wattage be brighter? it is said that piaa has altered the beam pattern by moving ther filliments up or down. and it creates a hot spot (concentrated light beam) so that spot is a whole lot brighter than everywhere else on the car. but it also creats a black spot. so all the light is focused down to a fine point and less light is emitted to all the other areas causing poor visibility. but the sw are still cool thas why i got them.. xenons are definately a better way to go.. but price is definately my set back.

My PIAA SW's are not the same wattage as stock...

they're 85 Watts...
you can get the SW in stock wattage or 85 Watt...
stock is like 45 or 55 Watts, right?

With my 80 watt SW H4s on the Miata, the difference is slightly more light, but nothing spectular.

The Plasmas are nothing special.. just a waste of $$$ if you ask me.

Don't bother w/ the head/taillight covers. Those are soooo eighties - it's played out just like the Altezza taillights.

I don't think anyone makes tail light covers for the 2k max.

If someone did, I get them in clear and paint them to match the color of my Max, Sterling Mist and leave clear parts of where the light comes through, I think that'd be pretty cool.

just a clear circle and a half circle of red and orange.

I actually thought about adding RED LEDs to the outside tinted part of the rear light assembly as break/tail/signal lights.
