Advice: Don't let them drop it off the lift.

When I took my car in for the same thing at the same mileage is when the dealer dropped it off the lift, I guess at that mileage the car becomes unbalanced or something.

Oh, and take the TSB with you.

Read my message "2k brakes". I had warped rotors on my 00' at 15k. The brakes would vibrate coming down the off ramp. The dealer
"did me a favor" and replaced them. Now at 34500 I'm taking it in tomorrow with "blue" rotors. Good advice from Y2k Max Luv, about taking the TSB on brake judder. I plan to take my print out also.

Mine judder slightly coming off ramps as well! It is not to the point that it is intolerable, so I am trying to decide if I want to bring it in or buy some cross drilled rotors??? decisions......

Agreed, my 2K1 is at 20K miles and I'm feeling the mysterious judder when braking from speeds above 50mph or so. I may have the dealer do their 'magic' once then buy slotted rotors and Hawk or Porterfield pads next time it crops up.

WOW !!! Sounds like a lot of money ??? But, if they keep warping and they only give you 3/36 bumper to bumper, what can you do ??? Maybe 1-800-NISSAN1 and complain !!! How much jack for the high end stoppers ???

To be honest I don't have any exact #'s for you. However, unless you are going to a big break kit I don't see it being too unreasonable for slotted or cross drilled rotors and performance pads.

There have been several group deals in the past with rotors, pads and stainless lines for 5 - 600 bucks so no more than that should get you a solid, judder free setup.
